ARVO 9000 Yellow Starburst Disposable Vape Australia
The name of this taste is a colour, and the colour is doing all the work. If you grew up with the chewy lollies these are named after, you already know what yellow means and you can skip ahead. If you did not, you have probably landed here because the colour tells you nothing at all about how it tastes, which is a common reason people search for this option rather than simply buying it.
This page answers that directly, and then goes into the part that matters more: the difference between the lemon taste sitting in a lolly and the lemon taste in a drink, because this is firmly the first one and that changes what you should expect.
Yellow means lemon: what the name is actually telling you
In the lolly range this option takes its name from, each colour is a fruit, and the colours are consistent enough that anyone familiar with them reads the packet without thinking. Yellow is lemon. That is the whole message the name is carrying, and it is worth stating plainly because not everyone has that reference and the label does not explain itself.
| What the name gives you | What it leaves out |
| The fruit, by way of the colour: lemon | Which kind of lemon. There are several, and they do not taste alike |
| That it is candy rather than fruit | How sweet it is, and whether there is any sharpness left in it |
| A rough expectation of brightness | Whether a cool finish is involved, which the name never covers |
So the useful question is not what fruit this is. It is what kind of lemon it is, and that is where the next section comes in.
Candy lemon and drink lemon are two different tastes
Most people use the word lemon to cover two things that behave nothing alike. The first is the lemon in a drink: bright, thin, bracing, with a sourness that makes you pull a face. The second is the lemon in a sweet: rounder, softer, sweeter, and noticeably less sour, because the sugar is doing more of the work than the acid is.
This taste is the second kind. It opens with a bright, zesty citrus note that reads more like lemon zest than lemon nectar, and rather than continuing to sharpen from there, it softens. That softening is the whole character of the taste. If you were expecting the mouth-puckering freshness of a lemonade, you are looking at the wrong build, and the citrus-led tastes in this range will get you much closer. If you wanted the lolly, this is the one.
Why the candy version is the easier one to get right
Pure lemon is one of the hardest tastes to build, because its identity rests on a small set of bright compounds that turn harsh and chemical if they are pushed. Wrapping lemon in a confectionery sweetness gives it somewhere to hide. It is why a candy lemon rarely tastes wrong, and why a straight lemon so often does.
The creamy finish is the part that surprises people
The thing that catches most buyers out is what happens at the end of the draw. Rather than finishing tart, this one finishes soft, with a faint creamy undertone that is closer to lemon meringue or a lemon sherbet than to a fresh citrus. It is a gentle rounding rather than a dessert taste, and you would not describe the whole thing as creamy, but it is clearly there and it is deliberate.
That finish is what makes the taste forgiving. It takes the edge off the zest so the citrus never turns into the cleaning-product taste that plagues cheap lemon vapes, and it leaves a clean, sweet aftertaste rather than a sharp one. The trade off is that if you specifically want a crisp, bracing citrus with a hard edge, this will feel softer than you are expecting. Read it as a lolly with a creamy centre rather than a squeezed lemon, and everything about it makes sense.
How sweet it is, and where the tang sits
Sweetness is on the higher side of this range, because confectionery sweetness is the point of the taste rather than an accident of the recipe. What keeps it from being heavy is the way the tang is placed. The brightness arrives early, on the way in, and then the sweetness takes over through the middle, before the finish rounds off. You get the citrus as an opening rather than as a trailing sourness.
That structure is why this taste holds up over a long device better than a straight sour citrus would. A taste built entirely on acid loses its appeal quickly, because there is nothing underneath it once the sharpness has been tasted a few hundred times. A taste built on candy sweetness with a bright opening keeps working, which is why lolly-inspired citrus profiles are among the more reliable options for anyone who uses the same device steadily.
On cooling, this is not built as an ice taste. There is no Ice marker in the name and nothing mint-like in the draw. Some people do read a light freshness on the exhale, and that is worth being precise about, because the zest character of the citrus is easily mistaken for a chill. It is brightness rather than cold. If you want an actual icy finish, the Ice tastes in this range are the ones designed for that.

The sealed, non-rechargeable body means the battery and the fill inside it end together, and the airflow is fixed at the factory rather than adjustable. On a taste where the balance between the bright opening and the soft finish is the entire appeal, that fixed draw is doing something useful, because there is no setting that could push the citrus harder than the sweetness can hold.
Who should choose Yellow Starburst
| Choose it if | Look elsewhere if |

| You prefer a single clear taste over a layered blend | You want a genuinely icy taste instead of a bright one |
| You want something sweet and steady you can use across a long device | You want a deep berry or tropical profile instead |
Yellow Starburst: questions buyers ask
So what taste is it, in one line?
Lemon. Yellow is the lemon colour in the lolly range this is named after, and the taste is a sweet, chewy-style lemon candy rather than a fresh or sour lemon.
Is it sour?
Only briefly. There is a bright, zesty lift at the front of the draw, and then the sweetness takes over and the finish is soft rather than tart. It is a candy with a citrus opening, not a sour taste with a sweet edge.
Why does it finish creamy?
That rounded, faintly soft ending is what keeps the citrus from turning harsh or chemical, and it is standard for lolly-style lemon builds. It reads a little like lemon meringue rather than lemon nectar. If you dislike that softness, a straight citrus taste will feel much crisper.
Is there ice or menthol in it?
No. Nothing mint-like appears in the draw and there is no cooling agent added. A light freshness on the way out comes from the citrus zest itself. If you want an actual cold finish, the Ice tastes in this range are the ones built for it.
Do I need to charge it or change any settings?
No. There is no charging port, no airflow adjustment and no settings. It is pre-filled and draw activated, and it runs until it is spent.

Yellow Starburst answers the question a lot of people type into a search box: what taste is the yellow one? In this lolly range, yellow is lemon. The important distinction is that it is confectionery lemon rather than drink-style lemon, so expect a round, soft sweetness with low acidity instead of a sharp, thin citrus hit. There is a creamy note at the end that rounds the citrus off, and no cooling is involved. Anyone after the sharper version will find it in the Pink Lemon option in the same range.
Why SmokeOZ?
Answering the question a Profile name raises is the quickest way to be useful, so SmokeOZ leads each listing with what the taste actually is before anything else. The page then records the mechanism behind the blend, the absence or presence of cooling, and the full hardware specification, so the choice does not depend on guesswork. Devices from IGET, BIMO, ALIBARBAR, PICCO and ARVO are catalogued together, a single unit is a normal purchase, and prices are stated openly.
