ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Raspberry Grape Disposable Vape Australia
Grape is one of the most searched fruit tastes in Australia, and it is also one of the easiest to get wrong. Two devices can both be called grape and taste nothing alike, because the word on the label tells you the fruit but not the recipe. ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Raspberry Grape is a specific recipe, and once you can place it on the grape map, choosing between it and the other grape options becomes straightforward.
The hardware is the standard SWIRL 13000 build. A 3500mAh built-in battery that is not rechargeable, a 0.5 ohm dual mesh coil, Smooth and Xtreme power modes, an integrated LED display and a rated maximum of up to 13,000 puffs. Nothing to charge, refill or replace.
The grape map: four recipes hiding behind one word
Before tasting notes, it is worth learning the family, because it answers most grape questions in one go. Grape tastes on the Australian market fall into four groups, and they are the same fruit underneath with a different top layer added.
| Grape variant | What is added on top of the grape | How it reads |
|---|---|---|
| Plain grape | Nothing | Sweet and mellow, no cold finish. The baseline the other three are built from |
| Grape ice | Cooling | Same grape underneath with a colder finish and a slightly sharper mid-palate |
| Raspberry grape | Berry acidity | Grape reads brighter and less syrupy. No cooling added |
| Candy or lollipop grape | Deliberate sweetshop sweetness | Sweet rind rather than fresh fruit. The closest grape gets to dessert |
Raspberry Grape sits in the third row, and that single fact tells you most of what you need. It is not a cold taste and it is not a candy taste. It is grape with a tart top layer, built for people who find plain grape too sweet on its own.
Why anyone adds raspberry to a grape taste
This is not a random pairing. Grape is a heavy, round, naturally sweet fruit, and in a vape it has a well-known failure mode: pushed too sweet, it starts reading like cordial or cough syrup rather than fruit. The usual cause is a thin base being covered up with extra sweetener, which is exactly how a grape profile slides into syrup territory.
Raspberry is the standard fix. It contributes sharp, bright acidity rather than more sugar, and that acidity cuts across the heavy middle of the grape. The result is a taste with more definition than either fruit manages alone. In practice you get grape doing the body and the sweetness, with raspberry arriving as a tangy top note that keeps the sweetness honest and stops the profile sitting flat.
The short version: the grape is the body, the raspberry is the lift. Nothing in this pairing is cold, and nothing in it is candy.
What Raspberry Grape actually tastes like
Australian tasting notes for this option agree closely, and they describe a two-layer build rather than a blended fruit smoothie. The grape arrives first and reads rich and sweet, with a full body. The raspberry crosses over the top of it with a brighter, tangier note. Because the two layers are distinct, the taste has more shape than a single-berry profile.
| Opening | Sweet, succulent grape with a full, rounded body. This is the heaviest part of the draw. |
| Middle | The raspberry cuts in. A bright, tangy note that lifts the grape and stops it settling into syrup. |
| Finish | A sweet-and-tart balance rather than a sweet-and-cold one. Clean, with no chill and no lingering heaviness. |
| Body | Rich underneath, sharp on top. The contrast is the point of the taste. |
| Cooling | None added. On the official SWIRL taste guide, the iced group is a separate list, and this taste is not in it. |
Picking between the grape options
The useful question is not “which grape is best” but “which grape recipe do I actually want”. Use the table below as a decision tool.
| If you want | Choose | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Grape with a tang that keeps it from cloying | Raspberry Grape | The berry acid does the work, so you get grape taste without the syrup drift |
| Grape with a cold finish | A grape ice taste | Same fruit, cooling added. Raspberry Grape is not an iced option |
| Grape that tastes like bubble gum | Hubba Bubba Grape | Deliberate candy direction rather than fresh fruit |
| A deeper, darker fruit direction | Black Dragon or Berry Bomb | Darker berry blends without the grape body |
A note on shared Profile names
Raspberry Grape is not exclusive to this device. The same name appears across several popular Australian disposables, and it also appears in an iced form on other ranges. That creates an easy mistake: reading a review of a raspberry grape taste on a different device with a different coil, different battery and a cooling layer added, then assuming it describes this one.
Two things are worth checking before you buy. First, the device name, not just the Profile name. Second, whether the iced version is the one being discussed. On this device the taste is the non-iced build, running on the SWIRL 13000 hardware described below. If you specifically want raspberry grape with cooling, that is a different product on a different range.
Smooth or Xtreme on a two-layer fruit taste
The SWIRL 13000 gives you two output settings, and tastes built from two layers react to the change more noticeably than single-fruit tastes do.
Smooth mode
Softer output and a tighter draw. The grape body and the raspberry top note stay in balance, which is the way the taste is built to be read. If you want the tangy raspberry note to come through as a distinct layer, this is the setting for it.
Xtreme mode
More power, more vapour, firmer throat feel. The grape gets heavier and sweeter at the front, and the raspberry lift has to work harder to cut through it. Some people prefer that extra weight, but it does soften the contrast.
For a taste whose whole identity is the contrast between a rich base and a sharp top note, Smooth is usually the more accurate read of what the taste is trying to be. Xtreme is worth trying, particularly if you want a stronger hit, but expect the balance to shift toward the grape.

Who Raspberry Grape suits
This is a good everyday taste for anyone who likes grape but has been put off by how sweet grape blends can get. The raspberry layer gives it enough edge to stay interesting across a long session, which matters on a device rated for this many puffs.
It is a poorer fit if you want coldness, since there is none here, or if you want a sharp fruit-only profile with no sweetness at all. Grape is a sweet fruit by nature and this option leans into that on the bottom layer. If you want the tang without the sweet base, look at the berry-led tastes instead.
Raspberry Grape: the points worth checking
Is Raspberry Grape an iced taste?
No. It is the grape recipe that adds berry acidity rather than cooling. The iced grape options are a different build, and on this device the icy tastes sit in a separate group.
Does it taste like the same taste on other devices?
Not necessarily. Profile names are shared across ranges and devices, and an iced version of raspberry grape exists elsewhere. Check the device name rather than the Profile name alone.
Will the taste change over the life of the device?
A 0.5 ohm dual mesh coil is designed to heat evenly and keep output steady, which helps a two-layer taste hold its balance. Even so, taste perception shifts as a device is used, and the higher power mode will change the balance more than the lower one.
How many tastes are in the SWIRL 13000 range?
It is a large range spanning iced and mint, berry and dark fruit, candy and bubble gum, drink-inspired, and dessert or subtle profiles. Availability changes over time, so it is worth browsing the current selection rather than working from a fixed list.
Do I need to charge or refill it?
No. The 3500mAh battery is built in and not rechargeable, and the device arrives pre-charged. There is nothing to top up.

ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Raspberry Grape sets a sharp, seed-edged raspberry against a rounded grape, and the two do opposite jobs: raspberry supplies the acidity and the lift, grape supplies the weight and the sweetness underneath it. The result reads brighter than a plain grape and less tart than a plain raspberry, which is the usual reason people end up on a blend rather than a single fruit.
Why SmokeOZ?
Blends are chosen for what happens between the two fruits rather than for each one alone, and that middle ground is what the listing sets out to describe. Specifications are recorded on the same page, from the dual mesh coil to the LED readout and the sealed, non-rechargeable cell. Buyers can compare this against the rest of the SWIRL range or against ARVO, BIMO, IGET and PICCO in the same catalogue, one device at a time if that is all they want.
