ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Ribena Disposable Vape Australia
Most tastes in a vape range are named after a fruit. This one is named after a bottle. Ribena is a blackcurrant cordial, the sort of concentrated syrup that has been mixed with water in kitchens for generations, and the taste uses it as the reference point on purpose. That distinction matters more than it sounds, because cordial blackcurrant and fresh blackcurrant are genuinely different tastes, and a lot of people who believe they love blackcurrant are actually remembering the cordial.
ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Ribena is built on deep, sweet, syrupy blackcurrant with the tartness kept in the background, for a full-bodied dark-fruit profile rather than a sharp one. There is no ice layer in this option. It delivers up to 13,000 puffs from a 3500mAh non-rechargeable battery and a 0.5 ohm dual mesh coil.
This taste is named after a bottle, not a fruit
Almost every other option in this range points at a plant. Strawberry, peach, mango, watermelon, cherry, apple: each name tells you which fruit you are getting. Ribena does not do that. It points at a finished drink, and once you notice that, the whole profile makes sense.
A cordial is a concentrate. It is designed to be diluted, and it is designed to be sweet, consistent and easy to recognise. That is the taste this taste is chasing, and it explains why it leans syrupy and rounded instead of crisp and acidic. It is a drink taste wearing a fruit name.
The short version
Deep, sweet, syrupy blackcurrant with a faint tart edge. Fuller and darker than a mixed-berry taste, with no ice and no sharp citrus.
Cordial blackcurrant and fresh blackcurrant are not the same taste
If you have ever eaten a raw blackcurrant, you already know this without needing it explained. The fresh berry is sharp, quite sour, and has a musky, almost leafy undertone that most people find too intense to eat by the handful. It is not a sweet fruit. What it is good for is being cooked or concentrated, where sugar rounds off that sharpness and brings the deep berry colour and aroma to the front.
Cordial is what happens when that concentration is taken further and stabilised. The sharpness drops away, the sweetness rises, and the taste becomes smooth, dark and syrupy. So when a taste is built around the cordial version, you are not getting a sour berry. You are getting the rounded, sweet, deeply fruity side, with only a quiet tart note left underneath to stop it from becoming cloying.
This is the single most useful thing to know before you choose it. If you want a tart, mouth-watering dark berry, this is the wrong direction. If you want something rich, sweet and comforting, with a soft edge instead of a sharp one, it lands where you expect.
Why a concentrated cordial note carries into vapour so well
Cordial tastes tend to survive the trip into vapour better than delicate fruit tastes do, for a simple reason. A concentrate is already a strong, layered, rounded profile. It does not depend on one fragile aromatic note to read correctly. When heat is applied, the profile has enough body to keep its identity rather than thinning out.
That is why this taste holds its dark, syrupy character from the first draw through to the end of the device. It is also why the sweetness lands as smooth rather than as raw sugar. The profile has weight behind it, so it does not need to be pushed to taste like anything.
Ribena, Rebena or blackcurrant? One option, several names
One practical note before you order. Blackcurrant cordial tastes turn up under a couple of spellings across the market: you will see Ribena and you will also see Rebena on some store listings. They refer to the same taste direction, and within the ALIBARBAR SWIRL range the blackcurrant cordial option is the one you are looking at here. It can occasionally be listed as simply “blackcurrant”.
If you see it written two ways and are not sure whether you are looking at two products, the tell is the description, not the name. A cordial-style blackcurrant will be described as deep, sweet and syrupy. A sharp or sour blackcurrant will be described with words like tart or tangy. Same fruit, different destination.
Ribena next to the other dark-fruit options in the range
The range has several dark and berry-led tastes, and they overlap enough that it is worth seeing them side by side. Ribena sits at the sweet and concentrated end: it is the heaviest, darkest, most syrupy of the group, with the least sourness.
| Taste | Direction | Pick it if |
| Ribena | Sweet, syrupy, dark, low tang | You want a rich, concentrated cordial taste |
| Apple Blackcurrant | Crisp apple over dark berry | You want the same dark fruit with a bright fruit lift |
| Triple Berries | Mixed red and blue berries | You want lighter, more varied berry layers |
| Sour Blueberry B-Pop | Sharp, sour, candy-led blueberry | You want acidity and candy rather than depth |
The clean split is this. Ribena is the one for depth and sweetness. Everything else in the dark-fruit group adds either brightness or sharpness that this option deliberately leaves out.
How the two output modes read on a syrupy taste
On a rich, dark taste the two modes behave differently than they do on a sharp or icy one. In Smooth mode the blackcurrant stays soft and dark, and the sweetness feels rounded, which suits the cordial character well. The faint tart note sits quietly underneath and does its job of keeping the sweetness from getting heavy.
In Xtreme mode the output rises and the profile gains body, which on a taste this concentrated pushes it toward a warmer, fuller, almost dense sweetness. That can be exactly what you want in the evening, when a soft profile feels too quiet. It is also where a syrupy taste can start to feel like a lot, so if you find the sweetness getting heavy, stepping back to Smooth is the way to bring the balance back. Nothing breaks either way. It is a matter of how much darkness and sweetness you want in a given hour.

Ribena: the questions buyers ask before ordering
Does it taste like the cordial, or like the fruit?
Like the cordial. Deep, sweet and syrupy, with only a faint tart note left in the background. If you were expecting the sharp bite of a fresh blackcurrant, this is smoother and sweeter than that.
Is it sour at all?
Not really. There is a light tang underneath the sweetness, but it is there to keep the profile balanced rather than to make it mouth-watering. This is a sweet, dark taste first.
Is there any ice in it?
No. This option has no cooling or menthol layer. It is deep and sweet rather than cold.
Is it the same as a mixed berry taste?
No, and that is the point of it. Mixed berry tastes combine several fruits and end up lighter and more varied. This one stays on a single dark fruit and goes deeper instead of wider.
Do I need to charge or refill it?
No. The battery is built in and not rechargeable, the device arrives pre-charged, and the contents are sealed. There is nothing to plug in and nothing to refill.

ALIBARBAR SWIRL 13000 Ribena is blackcurrant in cordial form rather than as fresh fruit: sweeter, smoother and darker than the berry itself, with the sharpness dialled back considerably. It is the kind of profile people tend to either recognise at once or find too sweet, which makes an accurate description more useful than a persuasive one.
Why SmokeOZ?
Tastes styled after a soft drink or a cordial are not the same as the fruit they are named for, and spelling that difference out prevents a surprise. SmokeOZ describes what each blend is modelled on, states whether cooling is present and records the device specification on the same page. The catalogue covers the brands Australian customers search for, prices are shown upfront, and ordering a single unit is straightforward.
